Car Description:
Full nut and bolt resto-mod with H6 engine and full 2004 STi drivetrain/brakes.
I bought the car as a clean title stripped chassis in December 2023 and spent the next six months compiling parts as I finished grad school, including multiple out-of-town trips to buy hard to find coupe parts. I started working on the car in May 2024. All used parts get media blasted, zinc-plated, and/or painted.
Some trick things I am incorporating into the resto-mod include a 2007 Legacy steering wheel with audio controls and the full auto HVAC system from the engine donor car 2001 Outback H6. The car also will have complete sound deadening and an upgraded audio system with a focus on sound quality.
Currently (as of February 2025) I am completing the wiring/wiring merge so I can install the harnesses and test everything. Once that is complete I can continue the build process, bodywork, and paint.
I chose to use an H6 in this car because I have already done a few turbo EJ swaps, including my 94 Impreza sedan with a Version 8 EJ207. The goal of this car is similar to the Prodrive P25 - a modernized version of the classic Impreza coupe with upgraded amenities to make it a fun and comfortable daily driver.

10/10/2025 Update - Thanks for accepting me into the show. I have made tremendous progress on the car and look forward to finishing it up and driving it to the event from North Carolina.
