Car Description:
I bought my car when I didn't even have a license do to poor decision making. But as I had an amazing job and some skill on working on cars, I was able to in my free time work on my WRX. So I put a lot at first into the car suspension and a bunch of interior work also a few mods which I realized needed now to be tuned. At first it ran fine , but found out really quickly after I got my license back that the car wasn't properly tuned when I purchased it, it had boost leaks and many other issues. Thought I got them squared away to to have my engine blow up on the dyno on me last year. So I said mess it let's go all in. Found a new mechanic that became really good friend of mine now, who worked closely with me to build my 1st engine. Went with a Teter built block with forged pistons and rings, had my heads rebuilt. All new cams and oil pan gears and pretty much everything. While my mechanic was build the engine for me I found a set of brembo brakes so I slapped them on with all new rotors and sic pads which are amazing might I add. Also have the FMIC upgraded oil cooler cold air intake and an AOS system. This all finally found it's way together in June of 2024 and still have a bunch of parts to go on as I write this. It Dyno'd at 575crank and 460whp, which isn't bad on a stock tranny, with an ACT stg 2 clutch kit amd a crabonfiber drive shaft. Have a bunch of carbon fiber interior parts the steering wheel and shift knob. Also I have dynomatted the whole interior of the car as well as the trunk built a custom box for my kicker L7 @1200 watts which rocks. I'm also on an ETune which dramatically improves the power.
