Car Description:
I've been building this car for the past 5 years, starting in apartment garages and moving into a 1 car condo home shop. It was originally boosted with a JDL v2 UEL kit, and I blew it up on summit main (final turn coming in hot!) After that I decided to ditch the FA and get into something I knew would serve me well on the street and on the track. Enter the KPower 86 swap kit! This kit was originally designed to use the K24A2, but I decided to go off the beaten path and use a K20Z3 to keep the high revving low torque spirit of the BRZ. Quite a bit of custom work was required to get the engine to fit properly with the kit but after a 3 year project, it's finally driving. I've done everything myself (and with the help of friends) with the exception of welding. I hope everyone enjoys this build as much as I have! It's a work in progress but aren't they all :)
