Car Description:
1993 Subaru Legacy Postal (build date 05/92. This car has a confirmed service time of 20 years, history is unknown from 2015 to present as the 1st owner passed away after retiring in 2013. The car was purchased in South Carolina and was used at a rural post office there and due to this has absolutely no rust on it with a beautiful undercarriage. Mileage is unknown as the odometer broke at an exact 220,000. Carfax reports show over 390k miles.
The car has had many issues that I've worked through. Interior has been gutted to find wiring gremlins which have been fixed. The original 4EAT has been swapped out for a 3.90FD 5 speed transmission from a mid 90s Impreza with JDM pedals and an oem RHD WRX clutch MC. The original EJ22E still remains having done maintenance to it. The entire cooling system has been replaced with OEM parts including the heater core. Not much has been added aftermarket-wise beyond HKS Hipermax RS coilovers, a Bride seat, and an HKS drop in air filter.
I've spent a great deal of time replacing many of the little damaged pieces from this car though I've decided to leave the original USPS decals and paint damage as I feel it gives the car character. It has become one of my favorite cars in my collection and I thoroughly enjoy driving the car on a day to day basis.
