Jason Alkins's 2016 Crosstrek Limited

Member #58576 :: Car Show Entry

Car Description:
I got my Crosstrek and had a vision for it that I would bring to life through my own hard work and meticulousness.
I started my modifications with my Sparco wheels and my BF Goodrich K02 tires to give it that rugged off-road look and functionality. Not to mention that they help me plow through the snow on those nasty winter nights through the snow. I painted my calipers orange while I had my wheels off for installation as well. For the interior I took some of the trim off and painted them orange for that little pop of color. I added my 42" amber light bar and Baja S1's as ditch lights on Anderson design mounts on the A pillar for added visibility at night. Next I added a pair of Baja S1's on my hitch for maximum visibility while in reverse. I also have nine lux lighting magnetic rock lights underneath my car which gives it that UFO look per a cop that pulled me over for them. I then contacted the owner of Melted Hoodie Fabrications and he created a custom design for my front bumper so that I could mount my four Stedi 8.5" type-X (spot beam) lights shipped straight from Australia. All of these lights are controlled by my Switchpro 9100 switchpanel which I mounted in the dead space of the center console. This panel allows me to strobe, dim, flash, or have a momentary option when need be. Finally I installed the orange vinyl wrap to the outside of my car that features mountains, forests, and bigfoot which ties into the overland and camping theme that I had a vision for when I got my car. My favorite thing about my car is my license plate though.
